The Ideology of Womens Rights

All women today aren’t appreciated in one or another. Whether it is getting abused by boyfriends or not being heard in the government system such as Hilary Clinton (who sadly lost). Women aren’t heard these days just like they weren’t in the 1900’s. Beyoncé, an R&B artist stands out in the industry because she is pretty much known all over the world so she uses her fame and music to get her point across. She has a song which is called: “Who Run The World (Girls)” and she goes into depth about how women can be heard and have their opinion accepted in today’s society.
The song “Who Run The World (Girls)” is a well-known song all over the US and many other continents as well. In this song Beyoncé is talking about how women are powerful in today’s society whether they believe it or not. Although the song is well known it isn’t as accepted as much as her other work. Her fans (which are women) aren’t accepting the song as a boost for their self-esteem. They are agreeing with the men and saying they aren’t powerful, they DON’T run the world! Critics are saying that the song “aren’t what they expected…” and “one minute its brilliant, like Beyoncé is imitating a proud lion or a gorgeous gazelle and next she’s a parody of a beaver or a bunny rabbit.” So not so many people are happy about what she is trying to accomplish.
Beyoncé is using phrases like “Disrespect us? No they won’t,” which is interpreting no they won’t abuse us, we won’t be disrespected. “Help me raise a glass for the college grads,” saying women are successful they are needed for something in this society. “…Better cut my check,” meaning appreciate what I am doing in society and recognize that I am successful in life. Beyoncé is a self-motivated and influential artist who is very recognized and is empowering women to be the best that they can be which is great in this society because women aren’t as self-confident as men are. And on top of being a women she has an all women band on all her concerts so show how powerful women are as one.

Its true how women don't seem to recognize the strength that they have. Bak when women had no rights at all, people who had recognized themselves as strong (women) started to rise up and act on that truth. However, soon after, and after all the things that those revolutionaries did to get to where we are today, women are not only continuing to be disrespected, but now they even disrespect themselves by wearing inappropriate clothing and allowing men to over through them without putting up a fight of their own. Its sad how women don't even seem to be aware of their own strengths. With people like Beyonce creating song and propaganda that promote the strength of women, maybe one day, that will change.

i agree that many woman don't see how we really are, they don't see how we have the potential and strength as men do. i liked your post and yes we do have the equal amount of strength that men do.
